Travel Communication Cards

We think we have all of our paperwork issues figured out!
Taking these issues into account and also events and holidays in China
that can cause closings in September and October, we
are now hoping to travel in November.
We are trying to make the most of our time and are
busy preparing to meet our Sparrow and welcome her
into her forever family.

    • We do not know yet. So much will be discovered when we arrive in China and meet Lucy Joy. Hopefully with the English, Chinese characters, pinyin, and pictures… and the help of our guide/translator to get us started… we will be able to get off to a good start. We also think that the group visiting her orphanage in October will be introducing these cards to some of the children – so that couldl help too!

  1. Neat! Is there such a thing as a version of this for Grandparents? You know an old peoples version, remedial, or something simple!!!
I look so forward to meeting her and welcoming her into the family. I just hope she can understand her new grandparents love for her.

  2. Just stumbled upon your blog and I am so excited because I LOVE following adoption blogs! Congrats on being so close to your girl. Best of luck on your trip! We have been home just over a year with our daughter and it was the journey of a lifetime for us.

    • Thank you! We cannot wait to go, for her to be home, to be all together… and I love reading adoption blogs too! I am excited that I will have yours to read now!
