“Hospitality is the gospel hidden deeply in our souls and in the corners of our homes.  It’s not Pinterest-worthy and requires a level of mutual trust.  Take me as I am, and I’ll return the favor.  It’s the unwavering belief that when I add your mess to my own,
the place has never looked better.”

I hope the author will forgive me taking the liberty of applying her words to adoption.  She meant them in a broader sense, but in our experience, these words help to explain the blessing that adding to our family via adoption has been. Our home has never looked better and we look forward to our upcoming remodel!!

  1. What a marvelous way to think about adoption, and it is so true. God continues to bless you and your family because you are sharing your life and faith with so many. Your capacity to trust, to give, to teach, and to love is indicative of the hospitality that shines through you and your family. Lives that are always under construction are changing and growing. Yours is a blessed example of that. I will continue to pray for you all. You have blessed my life in many ways. Hugs

  2. We are so excited to meet your newest addition to your expanding home. I remember on one of my favorite Christmas movies there is a line that says “Homes filled with love have elastic walls” Your home is just like that too! Hugs to you all!

  3. This is so sweet.
You guys have been so blessed, and that is because you have been a blessing to many.
That was a really sweet thing, to have MIchael and Lucy have lil’ birthdays for their toys. =)
We’ve been praying for you, and we’ll continue to do so!!
    Blessings,
    Jaidyn
