We heard today from our caseworker at Lifeline that we have received our
Pre-Approval to adopt Sparrow!
We are so excited!
We will continue on through the process now, hoping to be able to travel during 2014.
We were first drawn to this precious 8 year old little girl in November, but at that time we were told her file was spoken for. Our caseworker called us in December to let us know that her file was available and after praying together as a family, we believed we were supposed to pursue adopting her.
Did I mention that we are all quite excited?

Getting closer with a precious specific blessing in mind is exciting!! I also know once you have seen a face it can sometimes be more challenging to wait! Rejoicing over this little one and praying patience for you all as you wait. May her heart be softened towards you all. Even without having ever met, I pray her heart feels right at home with your family when meeting time comes! May you each continue to grow in your love for her and be drawn by God’s power together emotionally and physically sooner than later ;). I know God is doing great work in these matters TODAY – RIGHT NOW. I love that truth. Even when sometimes it feels like time is being waisted, remember God is all powerful and all present and He is already the connection across land as sea between you all!
